Project Engineer/Project Manager
We have an immediate, urgent need for a Project Engineer/Project Manager capable of managing and scheduling multiple product engineering efforts concurrently in a fast paced environment. The projects range in size from simple efforts with one or two tasks to complex development efforts with multiple fluid tasks and evolving project requirements. We are looking for an experienced, take charge, hit-the-ground running type of person.
The selected person is expected to actively drive the implementation of project deliverables while ensuring the budget, scope, schedule, risk and quality meet specific success criteria. The selected person will also be responsible for the development and standardization of company project management methodologies and tools in accordance with industry standards.
Bachelor Degree (Engineering)
Experience managing dynamic/evolving projects
Experience working on high visibility/highest business importance projects
Experience defining, estimating and scheduling project tasks and interdependence to achieve the scope through a clearly defined project plan/work breakdown structure
Experience identifying and tracking key measures of success for the project
Ability to work hands on with the project owner/product manager and multiple distributed resources from groups such as design engineering, quality assurance, and purchasing.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly both formally and informally
Ability to hold resources accountable for delivering on the project plan, including providing coaching and mentoring of resources
Ability to call out and deal with issues on the fly
Proactive rather than reactive approach
PM role will include day to day, detailed, hands on project work
Technical experience and aptitude is a plus
PMP or significant progress toward PMP is desirable
